Special time with grandma and grandpa Allen

I was so grateful to have my parents here for about a week soon after Lincoln was born. We had a lot of fun with them and they were soooo helpful! Thanks Mom and Dad!

My mom usually gives my newborns their first baths....she came a little later this time, so this is about his third.;) I love the tradition anyway!

I had a wonderful weekend doing something I LOVE!!! First, I did a photoshoot with the Ellsworth family. They are BEAUTIFUL! Feeling God's Love

I was feeling REALLY down this past week. I tried everything I could think of to bring back the happy positive thoughts, but nothing was working! I don't think I've ever had an experience quite like this (could be pregnancy hormones?), so I asked Casey to give me a blessing. When he got home from work, he gave me a wonderful blessing and I immediately felt a measure of peace. Then, I was able to listen to conference over the weekend. I felt like every word spoken was just for me, and I KNEW it was from my Heavenly Father! What I needed was to feel loved, and because of these inspired messages...I DID. I truly felt God's love for me, and my testimony of His love for each of us was strenghtened through this experience. I feel so blessed, and needed to share this wonderful experience!

Getaway with my man

I was looking through some pictures, and realized I never posted these! Casey and I took a little weekend trip to Park City at the end of August. I was ready for a getaway...the last couple weeks of summer were rough. So we rented a nice place, did some shopping.....

Rode the alpine slide...... this is just a random person. We heard him yell out "Sweet Mother" on his way down and had a good laugh!

We had a great time!! On the way home we took the scenic route through the Uinta's so we could check out future camping sites. I'm ready for another getaway!

Fall is in the air!

I just LOVE this time of year! I love the perfect weather, the anticipation of the holidays, and of course....crafts.:) Everybody needs some fun decorations to brighten up their spirits, and these, well they make ME happy! Happy Fall!!

Summer catch -up

This post dates back to the 4th of July weekend.....yah, that was a while ago. Anyway, we had a barbeque celebration in honor of Amber's birthday! It was fun to have Amber and her family and Valora and her family over for a little fun in the sun.:)

Claire's Birthday

My first-born child is now 12!!! What an awesome person she is. Boy have we learned a lot as parents! Thanks Claire for being YOU and teaching so many of us how to be better. Love you!!



Claire got to have a "baking party". I made her a special apron, and she invited a few friends to bake cookies with her. Sooo fun!:)

Pearls Birthday

Miss Pearly Girl turned 4 on August 1st! Hard to believe she's growing up so fast. We're so grateful to have such a sweet, pretty girl!!!

Sea World and Camping in AZ

It's taken a while for me to get the courage up to do this post. I took soooo many pictures on this trip!!! We crammed a lot of fun stuff into one week. Here's just a few pics.........
