Luke turns 8!!

This is Mr. Luke William Olson.  He had a fantastic birthday this year!!  First, he got a brand new bike...and his dad rode to school with him that morning!  A few days later, he had the best birthday party EVER!  He had a "water war" party with LOTS of little boys!!  A few days after that, he got to be baptized.:)  It was a wonderful, special day with many family members.  We love you Luke!!

Rapunzel

These pictures are a little out of order, but I didn't want to forget to include THIS post!  Back in May, Emma  was Rapunzel in a "Tangled" play!  She memorized a lot of lines, and even got to sing some solos!  She did a fantastic job and made us so proud.:)  She makes us proud in general because of who she is.  She is a beautiful, smart, helpful, kind, sweet girl.  She even made some fliers, and got herself a job walking dogs this summer!  We love her and feel so blessed to have her in our family.

14 wonderful years...

I am such a lucky girl!  14 years ago, I married this handsome guy.  I am a better person because of him, and because of the good and hard times we have gone through together.  I'm not sure how it's possible, but I love him more and more each day.  I'm so grateful Heavenly Father led us to each other! :)

Easter 2012

Saturday, we had a family Easter egg hunt in the backyard with the Hintze family and Uncle Weston. After every last egg was found, we had a picnic lunch. Had a great time!:)




Sunday morning we discovered that the Easter bunny had come...oh the joy and excitement!!!

We enjoyed our church meetings, and pondering on our Savior and the wonderful gift of His Atonement. We had a great ham dinner with Jessie, Erica, Weston, and his friends Amy and Emmerson. That evening I was able to participate in a wonderful Easter cantata put on by our stake. Casey attended with our neighbors, Alex and Jacquie.

Spring Break 2012

Well, I must say this is one of the most amazing and unique places I have ever seen! It's a place called "Goblin Valley"...and you can see why.:) We all loved it, and had a blast climbing and exploring(despite the cold temperatures and wind). Simply breathtaking.

One of the best parts was the cable tv at the hotel! This picture is just after smimming.;)

We spent a little time at a local park in Green River and had a picnic lunch.
Next, we headed to a dinosaur quary...here's a pic I got from the car window along the way.

After several hours of driving, we found out the quary was CLOSED that day.....but we saw this interesting little animal along the way.

So we headed home, taking the scenic route. We came upon this beautiful little creek, and stopped for a while.



We had a great time and made some wonderful memories!

Emma's Birthday! (a little late in posting)

With a baby on the way, things got a little crazy...but I didn't want to miss posting about one of my favorite girls! On November 19, 2011, Emma Jane Olson turned 10! Hard to believe.... For her birthday, she invited a few friends, an uncle, and her dad to go see the movie "Puss in Boots", then go to Boondocks. Sounds like the movie was a hit and they all had fun! Emma is really getting into fashion nowadays, so we gave her some shopping money. We all love her so much and appreciate her being such a great helper to her siblings. She's even started babysitting a little here and there! Thanks for being so great Emma!!!:)

Lincoln's Blessing

February 5, 2012.....a wonderful day! Our sweet little Lincoln was blessed by his daddy through the power of the priesthood. I am always amazed at Heavenly Father's love for each of His children.:) We were lucky to have many family members attend his blessing and spend some time with us over the weekend. We're so glad you're here Lincoln, and we love you!!
