We had a wonderful feast on Thanksgiving day!  After the feast we watched "Gremlins".  As you can see, we were all pretty sleepy after all the turkey........

Birthdays

This is Pearl Ann Olson.  She is happy, beautiful, sweet, and funny.  She turned 5 on August 1, 2012!  She is having lots of fun with pre-school friends this year and learning a lot.  She is excited to start kindergarten next fall!  For her birthday, she got to have a "night owl" pajama party with her friends.  She had an owl cake and piƱata. :)  We love you so much Pearl!

This is Marybelle Olson.  On September 17, 2012 she turned 4!!  She is very fun to have in our family.  We call her the "Comfort Queen" because she loves to be warm and comfy with her blanky and thumb.    We love her so much, and are grateful for all of her hugs!

Mae Marilla Olson turned 7 on September 22, 2012.  Let me tell you, this girl is FUNNY!!  She is always smiling and giggling, and it's hard not to smile when you're around her.  We love you too Mae!! :)

Emma Jane Olson turned 11 on November 19, 2012.  She is growing up so fast!!!  She is very smart, beautiful, talented and kind.  For her birthday, she had her two best friends over to celebrate.  Emma is a very helpful and responsible girl, and we love and appreciate her so much!!!

Lincoln Daniels Olson turned ONE on December 2, 2012.  Wow!!  This is my newborn baby!!  He has been a fantastic baby.  We all love his cuteness, and how he loves music so much.  Every time he hears music of any kind, he immediately starts moving to the beat and directing with his arm.  What a sweetheart he is!

Park City Get Away

Time to catch up!  Early in the fall, Casey and I went to Park City for a little weekend get away (we did bring Lincoln, but he was a good baby for us).  I LOVE these...they are a most important thing for us.:)  We stayed in a nice hotel and had fun swimming laps, then soaking away our troubles in the hot tub.  We did a little shopping at the outlets, then took a drive through the Sundance area to get a close-up look at the fall colors.  Wow!  One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen!   We also did a little hiking. I came home refreshed and with a renewed appreciation for my children and responsibilities.

Yellowstone

We decided to take the family to Yellowstone for the first time, and had a great time!

"Old Faithful" (ironically we had to wait quite a while for it to erupt):)
Traffic was stopped for about an hour.......because of this guy!
We stayed at a fun cabin in Island Park at "Mack's Inn"

We hiked to the lower falls...it was amazing!!  What a view!!!

We stopped for a picnic by the river. :)

Luke turns 8!!

This is Mr. Luke William Olson.  He had a fantastic birthday this year!!  First, he got a brand new bike...and his dad rode to school with him that morning!  A few days later, he had the best birthday party EVER!  He had a "water war" party with LOTS of little boys!!  A few days after that, he got to be baptized.:)  It was a wonderful, special day with many family members.  We love you Luke!!

Rapunzel

These pictures are a little out of order, but I didn't want to forget to include THIS post!  Back in May, Emma  was Rapunzel in a "Tangled" play!  She memorized a lot of lines, and even got to sing some solos!  She did a fantastic job and made us so proud.:)  She makes us proud in general because of who she is.  She is a beautiful, smart, helpful, kind, sweet girl.  She even made some fliers, and got herself a job walking dogs this summer!  We love her and feel so blessed to have her in our family.
